Having trouble locating the graphic or image on your computer?

A few things to consider....

** Did you Import or Place the images from a disc?

If your answer is yes, then you must insert disc into your computer. InDesign should be able to locate the files then.

** Are you working on the same computer that you created the document on?

If your answer is no, then you must return to the computer you created the documents on. Chances are the computer you used to create the files has all the linked images on it, and they are not on the current computer you are using.

** Have you deleted the images from your computer?

If your answer is yes, then you need to put them back on your computer. InDesign still needs those images.

** You know they are on your computer still, but you are not sure where they are

If this is the case, you need to go into the start menu (for Windows) or hit [space bar] + [command] (for Macs) and do a search.
